In Need of Summer Job Suggestion

Salutations, I am a Block 1 nursing student entering Block 2 with concerns about transportation to clinical sites throughout the future of the nursing program and would appreciate any opinions, advice, or suggestions.

Main Question:

- What Summer job would you recommend for a person w/out prior work experience? Any possibly in the healthcare field? I have prior CNA experience, but no licensure or employment.

Background:

Since the clinical sites and dates available for each block can vary greatly at the school I attend; I WILL have some difficulty getting transportation if I do not do something about it. I do not have a job (no income), driver's license, or vehicle, and I live with my parents. They are overly protective and mean well, however they are not hearing my concerns and do not understand that they will not always be able to driving me to the clinical sites. It's to the point where my mother says she will just take the day off from work whenever I have clinical days. This is unrealistic and she will not realize it until it becomes an issue. I need to find a Summer job to be able to pay for city bus fares (I may be able to get student discounts), and I have not had a job before due to my parents' reluctance to allow it while attending school (I take online courses over Summer as well). They are not supportive of me having a job while attending school even Summer, but is my best chance. I do not have a driver's license; they are concerned of affects to their car insurance and are reluctant to let me ride the city bus due to the price (they try to save where they can). I want to avoid having to ask a fellow classmate for a ride to clinical sites because that does not resolve the issue of dependence on someone for transportation. I'm 21 going on 22, as long as I am living under their roof I have to follow their rules.
