Halleluja, I have been officially accepted into the nursing program at Miami Dade Community College. I start in January. I am soooo excited! We have our student nursing orientation on Tuesday. Any ideas what we'll be doing? You guys will be hearing alot from me in the near future.

It is great to be able to share with others the joy of getting in!! I received my official acceptance a couple of weeks ago and even though people were happy for me, they just didn't quite "get it".

At any rate, I start January 02 and graduate December 04, from Washburn University School of Nursing, RN program! I am still walking on air!

I am carrying 21 hours this semester, to finish up my pre reqs. I was laid off June 02 and didn't look for a job because I knew I would be too busy this semester (husband & four kids along with school), the good news, I quailfied for some federal money due to my "displaced worker" status (the lay off). It will cover over half my tuition!!!

At any rate fellow students, CONGRATS, and GOOD LUCK! Just for making it this far we should all be proud!
