I haven't gotten back my finial grades yet but i think I can be comfortable and say that I passed. I'm crossing my fingers.
Anyway, wow guys, I'm done with my first year, I'm sure you are to, or about to those of you who started in sept 07 like me.
What a roller coster ride.
Working first fulltime, then having to quit my job of 4.5 years to go to a completely different job in order to be part time.
Being sick multiple times during this whole thing, I had the cold/flu for a record 4 or 5 times, three times in 2 months at one point.
I caught hemmoragic conjunctivitis during spring break and it lasted for two full weeks, and i had to miss my first week back at school. I had blood and gunk coming out of my eyes and severely decreased vision, and pain like you wouldn't believe.
I survived the blood, sweat, tears, careplans, clinicals, beginning med surg, fired instructors, working a 3-11 shift getting home at 1 in the morning to be back up at 6 again to go to clinicals for 7:30.
