How hard is the NET test?

Nursing Students General Students

I am about to take the NET test this week, and I am extremely nervous. I am confident about all portions of the test except for the math. I am currently a pre-nursing student, and I am taking remedial math classes because I failed the math portion of the Compass test. (you get a little rusty once you've been outta high school for awhile, teheehee)Math has never been my strong subject, and I don't want to fail this test. That would be $40 i don't really have- right down the drain. And wow! The price for a study guides is outrageous! So what kind of math is on the test? Is it pre-algebra, introductory algebra stuff, or what? I would appreciate any comments or suggestions in regards to this test. I'm freaking out here!

excellent! does this mean you're in the program, or does your school use net scores as just one criterion?

they use net scores for the screening process...so it will be a few weeks before any of us hear anything. *crosses fingers*

I'm with you...I plan to take the NET too. I'm a very bad test taker with these tests! I just got the Study Guide by Educational Resources...so I've been studying. Let me know how it goes..

It went well Monica. It was not as hard as I thought it would be. I prayed alot, and stayed calm. You'll do just fine. Keep studying.

Does anyone know if you are required to show your work on the math portion of the NET test?
