Hello fellow nurses and fellow nurse wannabe's,

is anybody else out there going back to school to finish up, or just starting. I need a little bit of motivation and inspiration. I am going back to finish my last year of nursing up. My last year was absolute insanity as far as assignments, clinical, lecture and the million other things that need to be done. Anybody have any good stories or motivational experiences to help this seem a little less daunting?:nurse:

I guess the only thing I can say is keep your eye on the prize. That got me through the past year and hopefully will serve me well in the future. Hang in there, you can do this!

I have countdown software installed on my computer... so everytime I restart (because I close it once I see it - you could set it up for each time you're online) I see the time dwindling... I think of it in semesters (or # of classes) to go... 2 left! For some reason, that sounds a little less than 8 1/2 mo

hi,

this response is a little late, and being that this is almost the end of september i'm sure you're back in school, so how's it going? i went back to nursing school at the age of 48, :uhoh21:going back was a scary deal and stressful, considering i had a 10-year-old at home trying to help him with his homework and do my own, talk about stress. but i got into this group of other students and we would,, and then study together, discuss maybe some of the problems that  we were having and we'd all try to help each other out:icon_hug: . study and workgroups are great ..have you joined one? if not consider doing so because they can really help me out, of your stress that is, and for other reasons.

a little helpful hint; remember, the mind is like the sponge, you can only absorb so much before you have to wring it out, but not completely dry, wring out only the knowledge that you have comprehended, remembered and easy for you to recall. keep the rest of the sponge damp with the information that you need to keep working on.

the good luck and best wishes,:nuke:
