First semester schedule

Hi all,

I will be starting nursing school in Spring of 2015. And I was just curious to as to what your schedule's were like your first semester? Do you have class 5 days a week and for how long? My clinical for first semester is either on friday or saturday (I will find out in December) Soo I was just wondering how your lecture/lab and clinical were like on a weekly basis. I HAVE to (I know, not recommended) to work while I go to school and I need to figure out how to re-arrange my schedule with my part time job. I know it's different with all schools but I just wanted to get an idea. :) Thanks!

You are exactly right that all schools will be very different in their scheduling. Honestly, all our schedules wont really ehlp you except to let you know that your job will ned to be flixible with your hours. You may have 5 days a week school, you may have 2 days a week. It could be a couple hours a day, it could be all day. You could have 2 normal days a week, but every feew weeks you have a test or sim lab or something on some other random day of the week. Be prepared to work no more than 24 hours (unless you absolutely have to work more to live of course). GL and congrats.
