I've decided after 3 months of contemplating, that I'm going to apply for an externship at the local hospital in April. I've decided it's time to move on from my current job and colleagues of 4 years this month because I am gaining no experience for my future career there. Afterall, I'm just a customer service associate at Lowes Hardware :lol2: and that has nothing to do with Nursing, although it does prepare me well for public work:uhoh3: . I've never did a resume before so I'm new at it, never had a class that showed us me how to prepare one either. I'm looking for a "WOW" job objective and here's what I have so far and it's just kind of blah. Any ideas?

Job Objective: To gain experience as well as confidence through observation and performing skills within my parameters; reinforce skills obtained in current nursing curriculum.

I don't like it :( it's not worded right but I'd like to include all those details.

To obtain an exciting and rewarding position within the company that will allow me to utilize the special skills that I have aquired. Also to obtain further skills learned through observation and experience. I would like to advance within the company to obtain higher goals, that would benefit the company as well as myself and customer service.

Close, but maybe make it more active, present tense. Maybe this will help get you started. Here's mine:
