Hello I'm currently in block four at maricopa college. I just took my first couple test and I'm struggling. I already had to repeat block three. What are my options will I have to start all over from block one. Should I drop from block four now so is not considered a fail. Help!!

I don't know anything about maricopa college and its "blocks." But I know for certain that you should be asking your questions of someone associated with that college rather than an Internet forum.

Academic advisor? Admission counsellor?

If you fail a second time, you will have to either restart the program completely by applying through the wait list, or you can take the advanced placement HESI and come in at block 3. But with the new class structure, it may even be advance placement into block 2. That I don't know.

If you drop out, it is regarded the same as a fail as far as repeating. The rule is based on repeated classes regardless of pass/fail status.

I have seen some students who were able to fail a semester for whatever reason, then either fail another semester or have to drop and be able to repeat just that semester. But to see if you could qualify for something like that, your best bet will be to see the nursing adviser for your school (which Maricopa community college are you attending by the way as there are multiple?).

Basically do not just drop the class and then ask. Find out your options ahead of time. If you will not be allowed to repeat without starting over or going back, then you may as well tough it out and hope to pull your grade up.
