dumb gpa question...

I know this sounds a bit obsessive, but could a 3.86 gpa be considered a 3.9 (i hope)??

Dumb, i know, but i'm a little frustrated and want to feel happy lol

I would say no (simply because nothing is rounded up in nursing school), but it's still a very good GPA. Whole lot better than mine!!

If it makes you feel better why not? I have a 3.46 GPA but I always tell people 3.5. That's pretty close and it's not anyone's business anyway. When it comes to admissions, they will look at a 3.86 and not round. I really don't think it matters.

No, it's considered a 3.86 :)

Don't beat yourself up -- that's a fantastic GPA!! I can also tell you from experience that a perfect (or near-perfect GPA) does not mean that one will have access to the best internships, jobs, etc. My GPA is lower than yours and I was accepted into a very prestigious student internship. Being the "whole package" will serve you well in the future - solid grades, good interview, school involvement (I'm a SNA officer),work experience, etc...

Moral of the story is that you're doing great, but try not to focus solely on your GPA - make sure you're a "well-rounded" student nurse :nurse:

Thanks everyone!!!

You're so nice :)))
