Is there a specific question?

Make sure to answer the question asked and not just what you wish the question were.

Develop a structure to the essay and stay on point.

Use a variety of words and sentence structures.

Dont be afraid of commas. They are often underused.

Is it okay to have "short stories" in the essay?

Like....After seeing that man at the bus stop who suddenly collapsed, and that women who was choking to death...blah blah blah (just a bad example) is it okay to put stuff like this in an essay if it fits the question?

Or is it better to get straight to the point and say I want to help those in need because...blah blah blah?

Thats more of an illustrative example than a short story. Id say thats ok.
