moist heat (free steam 30 minutes on three consecutive days) does kill spores, and gas (ethylene oxide) is effective against spores
boiling water does not kill spores
what about ionizing or nonionizing radiation (ultraviolet light)? Does radiation kill spores?

From what I remember in Microbiology (I was a tutor) the only way to kill spores is autoclave. The combined heat plus pressure destroys them. I am not sure about radiation though. Have you tried to google the topic?
