I have looked and I can't find anything on this question?
Are lectures/labs two times a week or Monday through Friday?
I know each school is different but what has your experience been?

I'm in first semester. We have class mon-thurs. We haven't came in on a Friday yet but there are 2 or 3 Fridays we will have to be there. We have clinical or campus lab on wends. This is the longest day 8-4. Other days were there 8-12 and some days 8-3.

Thank you for your responses.I really appreciate it. The only reason I ask this is because I live in Southern California and as I look at different nursing schools, I am trying to figure out what distance is "too far" to commute to for nursing school. I have about 3 to 4 classes left until I am able to apply for nursing schools so I am trying to gauge whether I will have to drive to school everyday or maybe just 3 times a week or whatever the case may be. Are you both going for BSN degrees?[/quote'] Yup, I am doing a bsn program. If you are trying to plan, you may want to ask a couple of programs in your area! I think you will be safe if you plan to be around campus/clinicals 3-5 times a week, if it ends up being less, you can be pleasantly surprised.

Thank you all for the responses. From what I gathered, I can basically expect to be at the school 4 to 5 days out of the week, as well as possible weekend events. This answers my question on how far is "too far" to drive on a daily basis for going to school. I would want to move out closer to the schools that I am looking to get into.
It sounds like some of you have some crazy schedules! Would you say nursing school is harder in comparison to the pre reqs?
