CSU Stanislaus Nursing Spring 2016?!

Nursing Students General Students

Hi everyone, I just turned in my application to Stanislaus to start Spring 16 but I am SO worried about not getting in because my TEAS and overall GPA are very low.....I was going to apply to Sac State and Chico but my TEAS killed me at 78%. My overall is 3.56, science is 4.0, non-science is 3.70. I had a little bit of work experience and I also live in the area. My total points add up to 77 ):

Who else is applying to start in the spring and what are your GPA's, TEAS, and total points?

Hi! I applied too. I have a 3.8

I was #5 on the waitlist. I'm in!!

I was alternate #10 and just got offered a spot on Thursday, so I'm in! I'm beyond excited to start. :cat:

That's so awesome. Congrats!

Thanks! Congrats to you as well. I just saw your PM but the site won't let me reply since I haven't posted enough. í ½í¸’ But if you want email me, I'd love to keep in touch. [email protected]

I am #17 on the waitlist. My overall gpa is 3.79, prereq gpa is 3.81 I think...

teas is 83.3%

Not sure how many points I have.

I was denied from Sac State with these numbers, I've they are the hardest Cal nursing school and Chico is close behind so your chances at those two places are probably slim...

Have you been given a waitlist #?

I was alternate #10 and just got offered a spot on Thursday, so I'm in! I'm beyond excited to start. :cat:

Congrats! How did they notify you - email/phone/mail etc?

They called me first and let me know a spot opened up for me, then emailed me an intent to enroll form that I had to sign and return the next day to secure my spot.

I was alternate #9 when I applied for Fall 2012 and I got in. I graduated from Stan State this past May 2015. I really enjoyed the program there. Don't give up hope. Congratulations and good luck to you all!

Did you end up getting in the program? I'm asking because I have around the same stats.
