Conditionally Accepted to UNLV Program?

I received a call today from the UNLV School of Nursing, and they said that I've been conditionally accepted into the program and I'm super excited since this was my first time applying. I have an appointment scheduled to order my uniform and make everything official, but I'm confused about the "conditional" part of my acceptance.

I'm retaking a chemistry class that I originally got a B in, so that I could get a few more points on my application. Without that A from chemistry I have 89.5 points, and with the A, I would have 91.5 points. However, my advisor told me that even if I get an A in chemistry this semester, it won't count toward this application that I send in for Spring 2016, which I understand since the final grades for the semester aren't up until mid December and they decide who gets in by November 15th.

So this may be a silly question, but, does everyone who gets accepted into UNLV's nursing program have conditional acceptance, or is my acceptance riding on this A I have to get in chemistry?
