Columbia MDE- MSN to RN

Nursing Students General Students

Hi, all!

I am a pre-nursing student, and planning to apply Columbia MDE (not MDE/DNP or MDE/PhD). I have a Bachelor's degree in BFA(Fashion design).

I am concerned about the situation that I may face with later.

If I graduate from MDE program, I will have Master's degree and become an RN( let's say, I passed NCLEX) but no experience in medical/health field. Another thing I am thinking about is that I want to go to a graduate school for CRNA later. It seems like I will have 2 master's degrees.

What does it look like?

Is there a difference btw MSN-RN and BSN-RN with no experience when I get a job?

I am also applying to NYU-ASBN and Hunter- A2D too. All schools have great curriculums.

Now I am thinking about the name of school and tuition.

I have read many comments about it on here. People are saying that the reputation of school from which I graduated does not really matter when I get a job. But like I said above, I want to go to grade school for CRNA later.

Is graduating from prestigious schools worth the money? Will it affect my future career/earnings? Does anyone have an opinion/thought/fact about it?

Thanks!!!!!!
