College of Mount Saint Vincent, New York

i'm applying to the college of mount saint vincent (bronx, ny) for the fall 04. they offer a second-degree nursing program (they waive the core curriculum class) and you can take the pre-requisites class at their manhattan campus. however the classes are $580/credit, but if you take the same classes at there bronx campus in the summer they are $250/credit. science is not my strong point, so my question is should i just spend the money and take the classes at the manhattan campus or rush through the classes and take them during the summer session for half price?
