Hi everyone. It's Louisepug...again:rolleyes: (just kidding:chuckle ) But really, it's almost 1 am. and I'm on the forum AGAIN. I just had one more thing that I was thinking about that I hope someone can answer. I will be CNA certified in May in Illinois, but then I'll be moving back to Ohio in the summer to go to RN school in the fall. If I want to work as an CNA next summer when I move back in Ohio, do you think I'd be able to even if I became liscensed to be a CNA in Illinois. Would I have to take some kind of exam in Ohio or just pay for a liscence in another state??? Don't know if any of you know this, but you all have been great help so far so this is where I turn now:kiss ! Thanks, Louisepug

This is what the Ohio Nurse Aide registry web site says about this topic. Good luck to you.
I am registered as a nurse aide in another state and have just moved
to Ohio. I would like to work as a nurse aide in Ohio. How do I go
about it?
You should contact the Registry at (800) 582-5908 (in state) or (614) 752-
9500 (out of state). To register you in Ohio, the Registry needs the following
information:
- Copy of your driver's license and social security card
- Name
- Current address
- Date of birth
- Telephone number where the Registry can reach you
- The name of the other state where you are registered
You should FAX the above information to (614) 995-5085 or mail it to:
The Ohio Department of Health
The Nurse Aide Registry/Division of Quality Assurance
