Care Plan Books - Mosby vs Lippincott

So, I really need to buy a care plan book soon! I have cut down my choices into two books and I was wanting your opinions. What do you guys think about these two? (Also, any other recommendations are welcome!)

Nursing Care Plans - It's an Elsevier/Mosby product, which is the brand that my school uses for text books and the company our school uses for online education. It's also the brand I have for my drug reference book.

Nursing Diagnosis - It's from Sparks and Taylor, which is a Lippincott brand. One of our clinical instructors uses it and recommends it, so most of the nursing students have a copy.

Hey there. I personally use the Lippincott book. It is a GREAT reference and spans, Adult, Peds, Maternity/Neonatal, Psych and Community. It is an all around great book with good examples to help you formulate your own care plan and interventions. I definitely recommend it!

Have you looked into the Nursing Diagnosis Handbook by Ackley and Ladwig? It is what I use for my care plans and I think it is great! Other than that, I am not familiar with the other two books, but I just wanted to throw in my two cents :)

Yes this book was and still is an awesome resouce for nutsing diagnosis. And I truly am a book person. ...so take it from me....get this book!! Lol. Gud luck
