B.S. Exercise Science Graduate unsure of what route to take to becoming an RN

Hello everyone!

I was wondering if anybody could offer me any input on how to pursue becoming a RN. I currently have a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and work per diem as an EP. My goal is to become an RN (and eventually a BSN) in order to become a Cardiac Rehab nurse. I am torn on how to pursue this goal and unsure on whether to get an associates degree first, hopefully work as an associates degree RN and then get my BSN, ideally with some tuition help from where I'm working, or do an accelerated Bachelor's program. I am very interested in the Lawrence Memorial Regis College program, as well as Middlesex CC and Mount Wachusett CC. Ideally, I would like to do this as cost efficient as possible, as fast as possible, and while still being able to maintain at least per diem work. This makes me think the associates route would be best for my needs but I keep second guessing myself.

Also, if anyone could offer any comfort or suggestions as far as paying for school that would be great. The LMRC program is definitely my favorite and would likely allow me to work per diem, but the 35k for an associates really intimidates me.
