Hi there :)
Is anyone here in Columbus, Ohio or nearby? I'd love to hear some of your experiences with nursing schools in the area. Although Central Ohio Technical College is a 45 minute or more drive for me I'm seriously considering attending there because the wait is not as long as other places (Columbus State year and a half plus, Ohio State rumored to be 4-5 years, Capitol no wait but over 12,000 a year for tuition alone). There is a strong possibility I could start in January at COTC.
Does anyone have any experience with any of these schools/programs? I'm open to both BSN and associate programs as I already have a degree and they will end up being very similar in length.
Thanks a bunch!

Hi! I'm not in Columbus (I'm in Dayton), but my brother went to Columbus State for awhile (not in nursing) and really liked the school. I can't believe OSU has that long of a wait! WOW! Capital is an excellent school as well, but you're right...it is pricey. If you can get some good financial aid, though, it'd be a great place to attend. I am planning on going to Capital for their RN-BSN completion program after I graduate from Sinclair since they've got a branch in Dayton. I've known a few people who went to Capital in Columbus and they really enjoyed it too. :)
