Anyone know of any good sites and / or search tips to find nursing care plans for the birth mom who is placing her child for adoption? I'm driving myself crazy here. So far I've chosen Risk for spiritual distress & impaired social interaction R/T altered relationships and perceived sociiomoral implications of decision... and there I'm stuck.
I can go in other directions with this, like the fact that it was a c-section - but I'd prefer to stick to the adoption aspect if at all possible. I'll also take direct ideas rather than websites, if you've got 'em. Thanks in advance!

Wow...I would have to do some searching! I would probably use "Coping" and "Anxiety" and something maybe to do with "Loss". I'm just guessing here. Hope others come up with some for you.

Coping or anticipated grieving? I would go with grieving depending on the perceived loss
Thanks, y'all. What do you think of: Caregiver role strain r/t altered family status AEB expressed concern for inability to care for another child ?

So I admit that it has been a while since nursing school care plans, but we were taught to treat the patient in a holistic manner. Why not include the med/surg aspect of this bmom's care?
No reason, other than the assignment is to include 3 nursing diagnoses and I was looking for some good ones OTHER THAN the standard med surg types I've been doing for the last year... maybe the reason is "boredom"? I'm trying to branch out and be creative, lol. Thanks for your insightful question!
