Accepted into BSN program

Nursing Students General Students

I've been accepted into a BSN program. I can't even process how excited I am. I've been a CNA for a few years and have worked in SNF and acute inpatient psychiatric. I have worked with some very wonderful nurses that have always inspired me, and now I feel like my journey can finally begin. Nervous for new student orientation, but very excited. I have dedicated the last few years of my life to school, and plan on continuing that mindset in nursing school as I have heard that is what needs to be done.

Any advice for someone that hasn't started yet and has no idea what to expect? I love stories, advice/tips, and experience from people who have been to nursing school.

Thank you very much in advance!

PS: Any school supplies that really made a difference in your learning? What kind of backpack will be large enough for school and won't be super tough on my back? The campus I will be attending is relatively small so I won't have to walk miles around campus but I do want to be comfortable.
