We are moving to Massachusetts this summer and I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not you need Foreign Language credits for a BSN? I didn't have to have them for my A.A. or ASN. I'm trying to get an idea of what I'm gonna need for pre-reqs. Also, will American Sign Language count as a Foreign Language, it does down here. TIA

I know you need at least one year of a language to get your BSN, but I do not know if sign language counts. I have looking at where I will go after I graduate and they all say the same. (I am currently enrolled in a community college in Ma)

Foreign language is not required in my BSN program. (4 yr. college). Bachelor of Arts Majors are required to have foreign language courses.
However, being able to speak Spanish would be helpful as well as learning sign language.
