At my hospital we are given the responsibility to screen patients to determine if a pneumococcal vaccine is appropriate, and if so, also determine which one we should give. They have provided a couple paper algorithms to assist in this process, but I still find it difficult and confusing. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, can you recommend any additional resources that have helped?

Actually I just discovered this android app called "Pneumococcal Vaccines" from a Facebook link. I tested it out and it gives the correct answer without any of the hassle of using a calendar to figure out the appropriate interval. I'm definitely going to use this from now on.
