PRN Staffing: What is your experience?

If you have worked with an agency for more than a year, what were the positives and negatives of your job?
How was the pay? And if you could change something, what would you change?

Default Re: PRN Staffing: What is your experience?
I worked for an agency as a CNA when I was out of high school 3 years ago. the pay was decent, rn's make 40/hr, lpns were 32/hr. the only bad thing was they would cancel my shift because the facility had found coverage. the positive things about it was that i was able to pick my own schedule, go to any facility and it was fun meeting new people everywhere i went. but you aren't guaranteed any hours unless you are in a contract somewhere for a few months. hope this helps
