Hi Everyone,

I didn't think I could do it, but I did it! If I can do it... you can too! I promised to myself to share with you all how I did it because I want everyone to succeed. I graduated December 2017. But since then, life has been hectic and busy. My husband and I decided to buy a new home, so we listed our home in January and bought a new home at the same time. Our new home wasn't ready yet, as they are still building it. So I had to pack up and move most of our belongings to storage and move into my bro in laws basement. I wouldn't advise anyone to do all these life changes at the same time but all that stress paid off!

I studied a lot of materials.

-Barkley review

-Fitzgerald review

-Maria Leik's FNP review book

I read those three review books from front to back twice! I completed all the review questions in the Maria Leik books. I completed all the review questions offered by Fitzgerald. I also completed the 4 diagnostic readiness tests on Barkley's website to see my areas of weakness. Taking those tests did prepare me to know what to expect! I'm already anxious baseline for any tests, but having taken those readiness tests calmed (some of) my nerves!

Hope this helps anyone looking for tips!

Thank you for sharing! So, I am about 2 months away from taking the AANP FNP exam, and I am using the Barkley review provided by my school as well as the Leik book, which I purchased on my own. Did you feel one prepared you more than the other? And the questions- were they more similar from Barkley or Leik? Thanks!

I feel that both were essential in my studies. Leik covered things that Barkley didn't and vice versa.
