I see it keeps creeping up that LPNs and ADNs are not satisfied with the efforts of the ANA. Heck, I can even agree. The ANA might be a good choice for BSNs - but where does that leave the rest of us?

I see from the posts on that site that several of you already know they exist. Obviously this org is better suited to advance and represent the LPN.

Are you a ADN unhappy with the ANA? Tada - There is a national voice for you too. http://www.noadn.org/whatsnew.htm

See. Just because the ANA doesn't allow LPNs does NOT render you invisible.

Hi Hotspam. It's great that you are bringing other alternatives for activism to nurses. The bottom line when joining these organizations should be that no matter what your title or educational background is, if you're directly involved in patient care, patient advocacy should come first. This should not get lost on us while we debating or discussing who should get respect, more pay, and so on.
