Hello,

I am applying for the CNL program at University of Toledo for the Fall 2018 year. Wanted to know if anyone else out there is too? Or has anyone recently completed it ? Have so many questions.

Hey!

I applied for Fall 2018 too! Have you heard anything back yet? When did you submit your application?

I am so happy to finally hear from someone!! LOL. Not yet...but I called the other day and was told that they would be sending the 1st round of letters in the next 1-2 weeks. I was told that my application was reviewed and a decision was made, that I would have to wait for the letter. They cannot give you any application accept/denial over the phone. I submitted my application in November.

So..have you called to check yet? When did you submit yours? I am so anxious...

I also applied in November. I feel like we've been waiting forever! Did you graduate out of The University of Toledo for your undergrad degree? What was your degree in? Also, what was your GPA when applying to the program? (You don't have to share this with me if you don't want to, I'm just curious)

Whoops, sorry. I've called, like, once a month since I submitted my application lol. I called last week and was told we would hear back this week. But I haven't heard anything yet.

No worries...I don't mind sharing... I live just over the border in Michigan. I graduated from Wayne State with a MSW (Master's in Social Work) with a 3.7 GPA... My undergrad was also in social work from Eastern Michigan with a 3.0...

I totally bombed the GRE.. :(. Although the advisor told me they put little to no weight on your GRE score when reviewing your application and that they were even considering taking it out of the application process for the next cycle.

I've been working in mental health at a prison for 5yrs and ultimately want to become a Psychiatric NP

but will need the CNL (MSN) degree first.... I am so hoping I will get accepted!!

I worked with a NP that did the same program that we have applied for..but it was about 8-10 yrs ago..so I'm sure the program has changed...but she says it is a great program to get your NP designation!

I am currently taking the only pre-req class I will need A&P class..So basically taking a class not knowing if I will even get accepted..aaagghhh!!! Do you have all the pre-reqs?

If you don't mind...what is your background degree in, and GPA, and work experience? How did you do on the GRE?

I am just so happy I can talk to someone about this stuff!! LOL

I check the website everyday....I know..I bet they are getting lots of calls.

Hey, sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I didn't get an email alert for some reason this time.

Youre a shoe- in! Your stats are awesome!

I also want to get my PMHNP after the CNL program. I don't have any work experience in the field though. That's so awesome we both want to do the same thing!

I bombed the GRE as well. The advisor told me the same thing about the GRE. But I'm still super worried about it. My undergraduate GPA is 3.6. I'm graduating this semester from UT. My pre- req gpa was 3.9.

Whoops, my undergraduate degree it's in behavior health. I check the website everyday too!

I hope so...I am still so worried...I bet your degree and grades will get you in too!!! I'm not sure what all you have asked..or what they told you..I heard there is only 40 seats available and around 60-70 applicants (that they expected applied) ..so no confirmation on how many applicants actually did apply..do you know?

I can't believe you want to be a PMHNP too!! That would be so cool to go through that with someone!!

So..do you know anyone that has gone through the CNL program? Do you have any idea on what it will be like?

I hope so! When did you call and ask? I called last week and was told that there were ~48 spots available with about ~60 applicants. I know calling and asking questions isn't going to help anything but I'm so nervous

I actually don't know anyone who did the CNL program, but I know people who are in the BSN program at UT and they really like it
