There’s always the classic asking for an Otis elevator in the OR

From my long-ago childhood:

1) stuff the toes of every pair of shoes in the house with newspaper

2) make pancakes and before you turn them gently coil a length of thread into the 'wet' side. 

My son is 9, so he’s at peak April Fools excitement. He plans to: get jalapeño seeds and mix them into his dad’s rice at supper time. Cut up onions and hide them all over his dad’s home office. Replace his water with straight lemon juice. 
I am hoping all of these pranks on his dad will prevent him from planning pranks on me...

Told a tech who also was a plumber that Australia desperately needed plumbers and was willing to pay up front $50k and a ticket to NSW and an annual salary of $75k incl accommodation. He spent the next week researching Australia, making plans and calling the embassy last before realizing he was pranked. 

I saw something recently (not my idea) that I'd like to do. Place bubble wrap under the rugs in the house. I have loads leftover.

I never did this ........ I don't think I did ....... cover toilet bowl with saran wrap.

Actually we were great buds and still is. He always makes me laugh. He's a really funny guy. 

I don't dread April Fool's Day but my boys do! This year mom is planning a sweet little text: Can you pick me up at the airport at 4 o'clock? 

I'm a fun sponge. We don't really do anything for April Fool's day. I also refused to make a mess in my own house and blame is on a leprechaun for St Patrick's day. I always told the kids that dogs would eat any leprechaun that came in the house. 

Maybe this year I'll try a prank or two. The kids would have no idea what to do. ? 

One I'll never try again is HELP! I'm locked in the bathroom at McDonald's! One of the sonnets said Good one Mom. Can't you just crawl under the door? The other one said Hang on Mom. The police are on the way!  A good one time text is Greetings from Barcelona. Wish you were here!

I'm looking forward to/somewhat dreading April's fools.  Because I write so many SBARs at work, it has been suggested to me that for April Fool's Day, I don't write any at all.   We'll see how it goes, but it might be funny to see our providers' reactions when they don't receive any SBARs at all from SilverBells...
