UNF - what did you get on your teas? prereqs?

So I just took my UNF TEAS today. Which percentage is the one that counts? I got a 93% National Rank and it says my "adjusted individual score" was an 88.2%

If you were -or- were not accepted to UNF what was your overall gpa? prereq gpa? and your teas score?

I have to send my letter of intent to JU by April 1st. I did go to the interview at UNF yesterday just in case. I want to make sure I have enough financial resources available for JU because it is so expensive. I'm going to stop by the financial aid office early next week.

Taffy, I really hope you get into UNF. Are you going for the accelerated or preliscensure?

So you could still go to unf if accepted. Yes, you are right. JU is very expensive. I applied for the accelerated program. Met with a few girls that are in that program now and they said it is very demanding. I perform better in condensed classes - forced to stay focused. How did your interview go? Were your questions what you expected?

I think my interview went well. One of the teachers said that I have had wonderful accomplishments and I should be proud of myself. The questions were exactly what I expected. I had one girl in my group who said that this was the second time she has interviewed with UNF. The other three girls in my group were all UNF students.

I don't think I did all that great. I came down with a virus the day before. I was kind of fuzzy headed. I answered mostly scripted answers, but kinda weak. That said, I still think it was alright. I think I scored low on heart but probably high on commitment.

So, hopefully you did well enough. I hope you are feeling better. It's a hard thing to try to sell yourself and your commitment by answering 5 questions. It's going to be a long two weeks.

I am actually leaning toward going to UF right now. I got into UF. But the thing that could sway me is if there is scholarship money at UNF. Someone on here said that there is scholarship money available, but I don't know how much is available if you are able to get it. Does anyone know how much UNF gives you in scholarship money while in the ABSN if you qualify?

I don't know anything about a scholarship for UNF. I was offered a 14,000 academic scholarship for JU though. I'm sure they have nursing scholarships availabe. when you get accepted, I would ask them right away so you can apply for it. I'm sure all of you did a lot better on your interview than you thought you did. I hope everyone gets an answer soon. When I interviewed, they said we might have an answer as early as this weekend. Check you mailbox everyday future nurses! :nurse:

I got into UNF as well for the traditional prelicensure summer 2009! yay! I only applied to UNF and FCCJ... I wanted to stay in Jacksonville. Haven't heard from FCCJ.... but I can pretty much say I will be taking UNF either way :wink2:
