Hi all, I am new to the Orlando Area and I am thinking about applying for a critical care position with ORMC. I just want to know if any of you have worked or currently work for them. Especially in critical care areas. If so, what is your opinion of the organization as a whole, do you enjoy working for them? I have been an RN for 2 years, went directly into ICU/CCU from nursing school. I have worked in the community hospital setting and I am longing for the "action" of a big trauma one/teaching hospital. I feel like I am losing my cc skills at the hospital I work for now because we simply don't have the sickest patients (we have mostly pts. that would be on tele at a bigger facility). I Haven't seen a Swan Ganz in at least 6 months.

If you want to email me or pm me with your opinions that is fine too! I understand not wanting to make any negative comments out in the open. I have heard a lot about Florida Hospitals from other RNs, but not much about ORMC. Maybe that's because they go there and stay there, so I haven't met any??

Thanks for helping!:kiss
