Hello there! I am currently about to graduate from LSCC's program this May and I can remember that feeling! I am pretty sure it wasn't until the beginning to middle of May that they sent the letters out. I remember I was already in summer classes, and there is an orientation you have to attend for a few days in the start of June I think it was so be careful on classes you might take for summer. Good luck!! And it will be the fastest, best, most stressful next 2 years of your life!!

Hi!! Thanks for your response!! I am so stressed over getting this acceptance letter in... I have a 3.98 GPA, As in ALL subjects and live 1 mile from school. But I have no prior experience in health care. I keep thinking this is going to throw me off the acceptance pool... I heard we had over 400 applicants these year...

Oh wow!!! Your GPA is great, how was your hesi?I had never worked in health care either. I would not stress to much about it with a gpa like that your chances sound great. I think mine was 3.5 and a 92 on the reading part of hesi and maybe an 87 in the math, but I am pretty sure we had maybe 150 applicants top, 400 this year is insane!! Jobs are hard to come by as a new nurse so when you get your letter go to one of the local hospitals and take out a scholarship, I fully regret this now because from what I read on this site it can take many months to find a job.

yeah, I plan on getting the scholarship at Waterman. I had an overall 92.87% on the Hesi, with a 96 on Math and and average of 91.83 (96 vocab, 91.49 reading, 88 grammar) on the other part. I was disappointed with the 88 on grammar, but I have to remind myself that English is my second language... oh, well... I'm so scared that I won't get in, I can't wait for the results any longer.
Anyhow, how do you like the program, do you feel prepared for the NClex, do you feel confident in jumping into the workforce?

What do you mean by going to a local hospital to take out a scholarship? Just curious, as it is very hard to find a job as a new nurse these days.
