Has anyone gone through an ED construction or renovation process recently? We are in the planning stage for ED renovation and potentially new construction. We saw approx. 51,000 patient last year. Would appreciate info especially from anyone who has been involced in new ED construction planning.

Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, which was just featured on TLC redid theirs w/i the last two years. They are a major trauma center in the Twin Cities here and this ED is quite spectacular. Even tho I work at another large TC hospital with a respectable trauma center, HCMC's by far takes the cake--see if you can contact someone over their--they have a web page.
