DNP Question- Please help!

I am in an FNP-DNP program, and working on an assignment. One of the questions I need to answer is:

"Can you be addressed as Doctor in your state if you have a doctorate degree?"

I live in Idaho and cannot find anything about this for Idaho or for any other state.

Any help or leads would be great!

I would think so, regardless of state...? The term refers to a level of educational preparation, and isn't exclusive to being a physician. I've never heard of this varying by state!

Though, granted, there are definitely work environments (inpatient especially) where this gets especially confusing in terms of people's roles/educational background and what their discipline actually is!

This DOES vary by state. There are some states that forbid the use by DNPs or specifically state you must immediately identify yourself as an NP if you do use Dr title. Last list I saw wasn't very long.
