I'm starting to study for my CCRN, and have read how wonderful Laura Gasparis' videos are. Anyone have a copy they would like to sell?

Or, know of another good series? I'm a visual learner, and typically need something to follow as a guide. I have the Pass CCRN book, but am pretty overwhelmed at first glance. 2 years of tele/stepdown experience, including lots of Vents, critical drips, ET intubations: so I will benefit largely from the certification but lack the traditional ICU experience. I haven't gotten all of my videos up yet on the CCRN review but if you visit lifelongnursing.com there is a few on CCRN review. I'll be posting another this week, and as time permits, I'll have quite a collection.

Does your unit own a copy of the videos? Mine did and I just borrowed it. Do you have a hospital library? If the hospital doesn't own it, ask if they'd be willing to purchase it for staff. You might need to ask the education dept. I only used Gasparis videos and did the online questions from the Pass CCRN book. I passed the exam with flying colors.

Specializes in Trauma and Cardiovascular ICU.

She does also have her courses online.
