Information on Florida hospitals

Hello everyone!

A couple of weeks ago I endorsed my license to move to Florida and it already has been approved :) . Therefore, I am looking at level 1 or level 2 trauma from Florida that also have a lifting team for the ICU's. During my almost two years in the SICU I am currently working, I have earned a couple of bulging discs so that is why I am interested in knowing what hospitals have lifting teams. Does any of you know?

Also, please, let me know if you know of any hospital that is hiring ICU nurses (ideally I would like to continue in SICU but I am open to any adult ICUs too). It can be confusing to apply from another states to hospitals you have never heard much from.

Shands at the University of Florida is a magnet certified, Level 1 Trauma center, teaching hospital in Gainesville, FL. New cancer center, 2 helipads, adult and pediatric ERs, 7 ICUs. They are always hiring RNs. They have a lift team for the heavy patients, but generally, nursing staff are more than willing to help those who need help. They know injuries are not fun!

Tampa General Hospital is a Magnet hospital, must have BSN to get hired but they have a great lifting team!!!

Lawnwood regional medical center in fort pierce FL is hiring on ticu, sicu, Cvicu nurses. I do not know about a lift team but I have seen their ads for 5,7,10K sign on bonuses floating around. From my understanding they are level two and for the area I live in pay fairly well by Florida standards

Orlando regional medical center (ormc) is a level 1 trauma center, teaching facility, and has ground and air transport teams. I am not sure about lift teams though.
