SCSU BSN Program

U.S.A. Connecticut

I will be starting next year in SCSU's BSN program. Anyone been in the program or currently in it? How is it? I was thinking bout applying to Uconn's program instead because so far I have not been too impressed with Southern.

i was very close to applying to that school, and i too was totally UNimpressed with the staff at SCSU. apparently nobody at the admissions office even knew about the ACE program and i have still not received replys to numerous emails. good thing i got into another program. classmates of mine have had similar experiences.

I contacted SCSU a couple of times without any luck. Then I saw in their website that they do not respond to queries unless a formal application has been received. So I went there and dropped my application. I must say the staff at admissions was friendly enough but seemed to know little about the ACE program. Once my application was in I had no problem getting someone to answer my questions on the phone although the call would be directed to the nursing department. I am waiting to apply to ACE program. I like the way they evaluated my credits. Much more generous than the community college.
