Anybody know exactly how three rivers calculates GPA?

I've heard that grades drop off after 5 years, is this true? And how do they calculate transfer credits into GPA, as well as repeated classes? Thanks so much for the info!

I was also wondering if any of the community college's are better to apply to than others? As far as, it's easier to get in for one reason or another.

If a class hasn't been taken within the last 5 years, you have to take it again. For more information about that you can call the counseling office. As for getting in, everyone is accepted into a community college in Connecticut. Just apply to the school and within a week you should receive an email with your ID number. Then you can bring in your immunizations and proof of high school completion. After that make an appointment with a counselor and bring in an unofficial college transcript to prove that you have taken some classes because depending on that, you may not have to take a placement test. But if you know you do, take the placement test before talking to the counselor. If your applying for financial aid, you have to have your immunizations in first.
