Being a CNA

Nursing Students CNA/MA

Just a shout out to all my fellow CNAs. Want you all to know there is nothing "Lowly" about what you (we) do. It is honorable and honest work that most people can't do. If you do it, and are good at it.....kudos to you and keep up the awesome work. You are making a difference in someone's life and there is nothing at all wrong with that!

I agree I think everyone should go through being a CNA first. My mom went from CNA to RN, and I worked as a CNA and now waiting to get accepted to BSN program, and I just think being a CNA really gives you the basics of nursing. It's almost like a rite of passage everyone should go through. There is such need in LTC facilities and those people deserve caring CNAs that make their day and life a little brighter. Working at a nursing home definitely impacted my life for the better. Those people just brought joy to my heart!
