Has anyone attended or is currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta? If so, how is it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am currently attending a technical college and have done all of my pre requisites except for the sciences. My gpa is 3.40. I just found out about this school and I am very interested... thanks.
what was it about? I will have to do that.
They discussed our uniform requirements for clinicals, we have to be clinically compliant by match 1st. Can't have long nails, no nail polish, no unatural color hair, one piercing allowed on ears, no tongue rings, where to fax our clinical packets to. you may
have received a clinical packet in the mail. If anyone else attended and would like to add anything that I missed please add it. :-)! I'm so excited!

I also attended Friday. U mostly got everything I think. I never received a packet in the mail but got one from clinical compliance. Shoes have to be all white no grey or pink Nike checks, no long sleeve shirts under uniform, they will email about when they will have uniforms for everyone to try on at the school. Cover up all visible tattoos, no loud perfume or lotions, a watch with a second hand is needed. You also have to have immunizations up to date. I found the check list in student portal before orientation under clinical compliance.

I have a pair if nursing shoes and they are more comfortable than tennis shoes to me. Nurses I know think the same thing also. Oh and white socks.
Thats what I hear and make sure you buy good quality nursing shoes too. Walking alot requires good supportive shoes....foot and back problems are no joke.
