what to do, what to do:

I feel like golum, constently talking myself into one thing and out of another.

As you know I was accpeted to Penn Hosp. phenomenal school. and real far away. no support, big city.

then I was accepted to Wesleyan only they couldn't tell me what clinical I would have because hospitals havn't gotten back t them yet as to how TCU's new program will affect their clinical spots. I do have a brother in ft. worth and my father does business in huston often.

and now an interview in Norfolk at Old Dominion. should I go?

Am I complaining? I hope not. no no I am not I just don't know what to do. I wish there was a way I could get Wesleyan to decide on the clinical bit. I think that would sure things up.

I have forgotten about the details of the schools and your family life... so answer these questions: 1). Each school: do you compete for cases w/ MDAs? 2) What % of students from each school graduates? Passes the license exam? 3) Do you have a wife and kids?

The reason I ask is that these are the most important things that will effect your life for the next 2 years. Your new support will be your classmates. They will be everything. You will eat, sleep and think only anesthesia with these people.

If you have to compete for cases, you will have a more difficult time getting the experiences you need.

If you have kids, then you will need the support of family and friends, otherwise, don't worry about it as there is no time for ANY socialization. And I'm not joking about this at all.

I hope this helps;
