Anyone that applied to Murray State CRNA program at Madisonville this year get in? I had an interview. Just curious as to who got in, or applied, and what your stats are. (GPA, certifications, years as a nurse, age, gender)

I got accepted to the Madisonville site and will start in August 2016. :-) How detailed do you want the stats to be?

Okay, here's my story. Nursing is a second career for me. My first degree (a B.A.) was an interdisciplinary major of Biology, Spanish and English professional writing with pre-medicine emphasis. I then worked in the business field using my Spanish for a couple of years before going back to the medical field. I earned an Associates for nursing (with a 4.0) and then started working as a nurse. I earned a BSN, also with a 4.0. I've been a nurse for 6 years with over 3 of those years in the ICU. I have worked at the 3rd largest hospital in St. Louis and have also worked at a critical access hospital (only 25 beds) in rural, southern Illinois. I am currently in a large ICU in northern Illinois (and, no, not Chicago). There were some positive comments made about my varied nursing experiences and my educational background.

Can you provide me with further information regarding how the interview process works and why types of questions they ask?
