CRNA's or Students in Northeast Tennessee

Specialties CRNA

Hi to all. I am thinking of moving to NE TN after graduation maybe to the Johnson city or Greeneville area. I lived in Greeneville for a year in the past and really liked it. I am into camping and the outdoors and would like some information on the hospitals and type of practice options available in the area. I am thinking of taking a trip there in the near future with my husband to check out different areas and housing, etc. I am also open to any other information that you guys may be able to provide. Thanks for all the help!

Gotta bump this one up! I know TN is considered in the sticks (since i lived there for a while), but there are computers right? :lol2:

Specializes in ICU, Surgery.

Come to Southwest Tennessee! We have lots of computers AND hospitals!

LOL I bet someone from that area will respond soon.

Good Luck,

Lu

Are you in the Chattanooga area. That interests me as well. I am forgetting where all my TN cities are exactly located.

I live and work in Johnson City. Of course, there are plenty of job opportunities available here for nurses. As far as schools (CRNA) in the area, VCU recently extended it's program to Abington, VA which is 45 mins away. I have heard rumors of a future program possibly in Asheville, NC (30-45 mins away), but nothing official. This area is really pretty, and relatively cheap to live in. Let me know if I can help.

Thanks, I'll PM you!

A classmate of mines dad in an anethesiologist in the memphis area. They employ CRNA's. Guess that is on the opposite side of the state though.
