Has anyone had experience working as an independent contractor/locum tenens CNM? I'm thinking of taking this type of job, but not sure what to look out for. Would love to hear anyone's experience! Are there drawbacks to being an independent contractor? How do you negotiate your rate? I'd be moving to a different state, and I don't know how the salaries compare. The job is also a few days of clinic and a few days of 24 hour call/month. Can I charge an hourly rate for that?
