Looking for information on reimbursement for study

Hello!

I'm attempting to start a research paper that looks at how documentation of nursing actions can be improved so that we can prove on paper that what we do is valuable, makes a difference, and contributes to or qualifies for reimbursement (hey, follow the money, right?).

I'm looking for any information on reimbursement, what sorts of things need to be proved or done or documented, anything like that.

Thanks,

Dian Inda, RN

I believe your best bet would be to start a thread in the Case Management Nursing forum, and ask the utilization review nurses there. They may have a better idea than anyone about this. Good luck to you!
