Yay!! I got accepted to LMC for Fall 2012. Anyone who is currently in the program have any comments on the program??

I applied to various colleges around the bay area and got accepted to Merritt as well. I am also on the alternate list for Ohlone Spring 2013. I'm weighing out my pros and cons to the school that I choose. I'm a little torn because Merritt has a 100% NCLEX pass rate; however, comments about Merritt are all negative. I currently live closer to Merritt but am skeptical about their reputation.

So, views on LMC ADN program is greatly appreciated.

CONGRATULATIONS! You will love the program. It is alot of hard work, but well worth it. I hope you got the flyer about the meet and greet the 2nd years put on for the 1st year incoming class. It is the 14th of July 3-5. Email me if you can and I will make sure you have the location. They were supposed to include the flyer for ALL accepted into the program. The flyer had all the info. Sure hope you can make it. IT is at a pizza palor in Antioch. The people who provide the uniforms will also be there so you can preorder.

Thank you! I got into Dominican as well but I think this school would be a better fit for me plus its cheaper lol. I seen that the meet and greet was the 14th I requested that day off for another reason but ill tell staffing its for school now so hopefully I will get it off. I didn't get anything yet the admissions lady said ill be getting a packet soon but ill email you :)

Yay!! Congratulations Lyricalluna!! I tried e-mailing on this site but I've been unsuccessful. Keep me posted if and when you get your packet and I will do the same. I look forward to meeting you and the 2nd year students who put together the meet and greet.

Hey there,I've Been reading the post, and super excited to start the program in the fall!! Have you heard anything else about the lvn-rn bridge and if they recieved the funding yet? I was accepted to that proram if they recieve the grant, otherwise I will be starting first year:( which would be a bummer, but I am very grateful and will take it either way. I have the meet and greet flyer so I will def. be there! Any advise for me coming in 3rd semester if I do? you can email if that works?! Thank you to whoever responds! Whoooooo hoooo! Can't wait!! Congrats everyone who made it!!!!

Congratulations! We only lost 1, I believe after 2nd semester. We were told they would only accept up to 40, if they received the funding. Which would mean 5 students. We would not know as they were still waiting to hear when the semester ended. But, if you start in 1st year, you will still love it!

If we do accept any in the bridge, welcome to our class!

I'll see you guys at next years meet and greet. Apparently it was too good to be true and I felt something wasn't right when I last asked about my two TEAS attempts. I asked again today. Sucks, I failed the first time by .7% away from passing. I'm not good at timed tests so let's see what they have in store for my remediation. I wish they would at least accept my passing score the second time, but they won't. I'll be taking it a third time next June.

Hi extreme motivation,I was recently accepted to LMC for fall 2012! I'm so excited. They called me on July 18th and offered me a conditional acceptance. I guess I was listed as an alternate providing they received appropriate funding for the program!I too was accepted to Merritt. I actually tried Merritt last year an didn't make it through "boot camp" so I had to withdraw from the program. Despite the ill feelings I had for the program, I decided that my desire to become a nurse far outweighed how I felt about Merritt ADN program, and decided to try them again. However, I don't need to! LMC accepted me and I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to attend. I did all of my prerequisites at LMC, live close, and it's been my first choice since deciding to go ito nursing. I've heard all good things about LMC and am looking forward to the start of the semester!I'm going to be looking for a good study buddy, if anyone is interested. I'm not a true study group type of person, but one buddy would be great!!!I Dream RN...
