Any HFENs in CA out there willing to answer some questions for a hopeful?

Hi there! This is my first post. I recently received a postcard in the mail regarding positions available for HFEN positions in California. I researched the position using the Department of Public Health website as well as other internet sources and it sure sounds like my dream job! I have an RN and have almost three years floor experience as well as extern experience prior to that. I took the qualifying test and received a 65% so I am planning on trying again after the 6 month waiting period. Any recommendations on how I can improve my score next time? If I pass the test what are my chances of getting hired? What is the level of competitiveness associated with this job? I have many more questions if anyone is willing to help me out.
