Are there any community colleges in the fayetteville, springdale, rogers, siloam springs area that have RN programs?

Thanks!

Northwest Arkansas Community College is in the Rogers/Bentonville area. It offers a 2 year Associate (RN) degree.

Did you go there? I am originally from the NWA area and will be moving back there soon due to my husband's job. I am just concerned because that is the only 2-year program in that area! I bet it is very, very competitive!!

Thanks for the reply.

I started the nursing program in 06', took a year off, and am re-entering the program where I left off this year. Getting in is a little competative. In the traditional 2 year program there are 40 seats available...over 200 usually apply. There is also a Fast Track program that has either 30 or 40 seats available. So that gives a little extra chance to get in if you're able to do it. The degree plan has pre-req/co-req courses built in...but my advice is to have all other classes required done so that only nurses classes need to be taken. Having those classes done and having a good GPA should get you in with no problem.

Thanks alot! Good luck with finishing the program!!

Thanks! And good luck to you...:).

I also graduated from NWACC and when I applied for jobs the local hospitals were always glad to see I had graduated from NWACC rather than the local university. NWACC has a great program. good luck!

NWACC graduates some excellent nurses!! I'm always glad to see them come to work w/us! The local LPN school does a great job as well.
