Have you finished NUR 207 (COM 270 through Maricopa Community College)? I am taking it right now at Mesa Community College. Also, I'm taking FON 241 through Rio Salado. I'm trying to improve my previous grade. What classes (if any) are you currently taking?

I took NUR 207 at GCU last semester. Right now I'm in Stats (the one I got a C in) and next month I start Christian world view so I can get it over with and I don't have to take it when I'm in the program. Then I have another health class. I freaked out earlier because I forgot that NUR 207 was COM 270 at the community colleges; so I was just like I HAVEN'T FINISHED! hahahaa

Yeah I'm not looking forward to all the costs of the finger print stuff. There's a place in my hometown in southern arizona that does a lot of immunizations for free so if I'm missing any I'll go there when I go down next month! I don't know if there is any place like that in Phoenix. Hopefully I don't need much!!

I know I'll have to pay for my physical. I hope I have everything else in order. I wanted to take University Success and Christian Worldview before the program started, but I pay for school on my own. I can only afford to pay for the 5 blocks (as long as I get a GPA scholarship). So, I have to take those classes within the program.

Yeah I took university success too last semester! It was a ridiculous class! The papers and stuff are basic and it's not challenging. I don't have to pay for my physical (thankfully I just got my new health insurance) so the first one is covered. I'm hoping for a GPA scholarship from St. Joseph's too...how do we find out??

I think in March or April we will have a meeting to go over finances, scholarships, etc!

Yeah! I'm so excited and nervous!! I'll probably see you at St. Joe's!!

We'll definitely see each other! Our cohort should only have 25-30 people in it!

Yeah! I think it'll be nice because we'll all hopefully be close and be able to help each other! I'm sure our orientation isn't formal, but I'm gonna dress semi decent!

I don't know what I'm wearing. Probably jeans and a t-shirt! I might throw on some scrubs (if I decide to go to work tomorrow). But no, I doubt it will be formal.

Now that the orientation is done I'm trying to get everything settled to meet the requirements!

I'm so nervous! I'm glad orientation is over! Now, I only have to get a physical, turn in my immunization info, and find a way to pay for school!

It was a relief for me (i'm not sure about you) when the financial counselors said they could charge summer and fall as a new academic year if you maxed out your fasfa over this school year...
