Snead State LPN to RN Online Mobility

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to confer with other individuals who applied for the upcoming Summer 2014 online mobility class at Snead. I would also love to hear from current and former students of their program ( workload, clinicals, easiness/hardness of the program. Any input would be great!

Hi I have also. do you know when we should hear something? I live in GA on the AL line. I have applied to Calhoun and North East

AL. I read on the thread that Calhoun sent there letters out and people got there acceptance yesterday. I did not get anything, I'm hoping it's because I am out of state.- Good luck to you. Let's keep our fingers crossed!

@ranger1 finally a reply! I actually called the director today to see about the progress of the letters. She stated to expect something around the 14-16. I don't understand why calculating points should take a full 6 weeks! You are right- Calhoun letters came out yesterday. I got into calhoun a program. But it was the day traditional mobility not the online in which I wanted so I'm declining my spot.

Congrats!!!!! What was your point score? Mine is 155 with Calhoun. I only made a 75.3 on the TEAS and did not take any classes at Calhoun, so I am really worried. I can only do the Online Mobility, since I live out of state. That's why I applied to 3 schools but I still worry that may not have been enough!!!!

My wife applied to both Calhoun and Snead's online mobility. It's too bad Snead is sending theirs out so late. Calhoun wants the seat accepted or declined by 11/8, and I think orientation is 11/20.

Hi everyone If anyone knows any info on Sneads hybrid RN program or Wallace program can you guys plz post for me!! I just want to know about clinicals as of how many days and the times and how many days you would have to go to the school Thnx!!

I got into wallace program. It's a hybrid option where class time isn't required you just go for test. Your Clinicals are not as liquid as Calhoun or snead where your able to choose when and where u go to Clinicals. Your still in a traditional clinical group. I'm thinking about just doing wallace even if I get into snead because their board rates are higher. I'm turning down my spot for the traditional day mobility.

I just got my acceptance for the online mobility at Calhoun !!!I'm accepting it. Snead and NACC are closer to home but I do not want to pass any opportunities - I may not get into the other 2- Good luck at Wallace!!!

Thank you! Good luck to you as well! I would have definitely accepted the spot at Calhoun if I got in to the online mobility! Unfortunately that drive everyday to Decatur is impossible especially driving a mustang! I can take the wallace drive because ill only be driving for Clinicals and test!
